MSC Cruises has announced changes to its Winter 2027-2028 programme, with MSC World Asia moving into the South Caribbean and MSC World Europa continuing to operate in the Western Mediterranean.
MSC World Asia will offer 7- and 14-night South Caribbean itineraries, with embarkation available from Fort-de-France in Martinique, Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe and Bridgetown in Barbados. The programme will include calls at Castries in Saint Lucia, St. George’s in Grenada, Philipsburg in St. Maarten, St. John’s in Antigua and Barbuda, Basseterre in Saint Kitts and Nevis, Roseau in Dominica and Kingstown in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
As MSC Cruises’ flagship, MSC World Asia will bring its range of onboard facilities to the Caribbean, including the Cliffhanger over-water swing attraction, the line’s largest at-sea Venchi chocolate experience, family facilities, entertainment venues and extensive outdoor areas.
MSC World Europa, meanwhile, will remain in the Western Mediterranean rather than operating its previously planned Middle East deployment. The ship will offer 7-night cruises from several embarkation ports in the region, with itineraries calling at Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia for Rome, Messina and Valletta.
The World Class vessel will operate with its existing range of dining, entertainment and family facilities, including the open-air World Promenade, World Galleria, specialty restaurants, bars and lounges. The deployment provides a winter programme linking major Mediterranean ports and cities.
Passengers booked on MSC World Asia’s Mediterranean cruises or MSC Meraviglia’s South Caribbean sailings for Winter 2027-2028 will have their reservations updated and will be contacted directly regarding any changes.
Passengers holding reservations for MSC World Europa’s previously scheduled Winter 2027-2028 Middle East cruises, together with their travel advisers, are being contacted with available alternatives. These include transferring bookings to another sailing or requesting a full refund.
The changes represent a redeployment of two World Class ships within MSC Cruises’ winter network, increasing capacity in the South Caribbean while maintaining a significant World Class presence in the Mediterranean.
