On May 30, 2025, Fincantieri launched Mein Schiff Flow, the second vessel in TUI’s InTUItion-class, at its Monfalcone shipyard in Italy.

The 160,000-GT-ton cruise ship is part of a joint venture between TUI AG and Royal Caribbean Cruises, reflecting a strategic emphasis on sustainable maritime operations.

The launch ceremony was attended by Daniele Fanara, Senior Vice President of New Building and After Sales at Fincantieri's Merchant Ships Division; Cristiano Bazzara, Director of the Monfalcone shipyard; and Wybcke Meier, CEO of TUI Cruises.

Mein Schiff Flow is engineered for dual-fuel propulsion, capable of operating on both liquefied natural gas (LNG) and marine gas oil (MGO). The vessel is also prepared to utilize low-emission fuels such as bio-LNG or e-LNG, aligning with evolving environmental regulations. Environmental technologies onboard include catalytic converters meeting Euro 6 standards, a waste heat recovery system, and shore power connectivity. Additionally, the ship features an advanced waste treatment system designed to thermally convert organic materials into recyclable components.

Following the delivery of its sister ship, Mein Schiff Relax, in February 2025, Mein Schiff Flow is scheduled to enter service in mid-2026. Both vessels represent a collaborative effort between Fincantieri and TUI Cruises to enhance energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact in the cruise industry.
