Disney Cruise Line will withdraw from Australian and New Zealand operations at the conclusion of the 2025–2026 season, ending a 3-year presence that commenced in late 2023 with the arrival of the Disney Wonder for its inaugural “Disney Magic at Sea” programme.
The Disney Wonder, measuring 84,130 gross tons and with capacity for 2,713 passengers, will conduct its final regional season between October 2025 and February 2026. The schedule will comprise voyages of 3 to 10 nights from Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland, incorporating both port calls and coastal cruises without port calls.
Her final round-trip sailing in the region will be a 3-day voyage from Sydney, departing January 30th, 2026. Thereafter, on February 2nd, 2026, she will commence a 14-night repositioning voyage from Sydney to Honolulu.
The decision follows similar post-pandemic withdrawals by Cunard and Virgin Voyages. The company has indicated that both Australia and New Zealand remain under review for potential future deployment, though the Disney Wonder is absent from 2026–2027 port schedules.
The redeployment coincides with the line’s expansion into Asia, where the Disney Adventure is scheduled to begin operations from Singapore in December 2025, undertaking a programme of sailings throughout the Asia Pacific region.
