In response to a long-standing request from guests seeking a non-alcoholic alternative, CCL-Carnival Cruise Line has introduced the CHEERS! Zero Proof beverage package. Priced at US$29.99 per person, per day when booked before the cruise—and rising to US$34.99 aboard the ship—this package is now open for pre-cruise purchase on Carnival.com, with onboard availability following shortly.
The new offering supplies an extensive range of unlimited, alcohol-free refreshments, including Coca-Cola sodas, standard juices, still and sparkling bottled water (plus coconut water), premium coffees and teas, energy drinks, milkshakes, smoothies, bottled protein shakes, frozen non-alcoholic drinks, alcohol-free beer, zero-proof cocktails, and alcohol-free sparkling wine.
Carnival’s president, Christine Duffy, explained that the package was designed to meet guests' expressed preference for a comprehensive non-alcoholic option. She clarified that it offers a breadth of choices beyond the Bottomless Bubbles soda package and parallels the flexibility of the full CHEERS! package— minus the alcohol.
Consistent with Carnival’s beverage package model, CHEERS! Zero Proof must be purchased for the entire cruise, is limited to one drink per serving, and is non-transferable. Some items—such as alcohol-free beer, sparkling wine, and zero-proof cocktails—carry an age requirement of 21 and older. The package is valid only onboard and does not apply at port destinations or onshore locations like Celebration Key and Half Moon Cay.
This marks Carnival’s fourth beverage package offering, joining Bottomless Bubbles (soda), Cruise the Vineyard (wine), and the original CHEERS! package (alcoholic drinks included).
