Princess Cruises' new Mexican Riviera shore excursions

Princess Cruises has expanded its shore-excursion program along the Mexican Riviera with 13 newly curated tours in five ports: Cabo San Lucas, La Paz, Manzanillo, Mazatlán, and Puerto Vallarta.

The announcement comes as the line marks its 60th year of service to that region, originally inaugurated in 1965 with the Princess Patricia.

These excursions are built to appeal across several categories—culinary, nature & wildlife, culture and history, and adventure. Among the new offerings is a Princess-exclusive in Cabo San Lucas: the Todos Santos Wine Experience, available only to Princess Cruises guests through January 2026. Guests will visit Viñedo Las Tinajas, the first winery in Todos Santos, sample wines paired with local bruschetta, and explore downtown Todos Santos locations such as the Mission of Our Lady of Pilar and Hotel California.

Other excursions include marine-life observation via a glass-bottomed boat around El Arco in Cabo San Lucas; scalloping with local fishing families in La Paz; visits to a turtle sanctuary and salt museum in Manzanillo; cultural and food-based tours in Mazatlán; and chocolate and piñata-making displays combining local traditions in Puerto Vallarta.

Princess Cruises will deploy these excursions across 31 departures during the 2025-2026 season, operating from home ports in Los Angeles and San Francisco aboard Emerald Princess, Royal Princess, and Ruby Princess. Itineraries will run from 7 to 14 days.

There is a limited-time promotional offer of up to 20% off on select shore excursions booked between September 10–16, 2025, for voyages through April 2026.
