Princess Cruises has released details of its 2027 Canada & New England season. Bookings are now open for voyages running from August 21st to October 30th, 2027, to be served by two ships: Regal Princess, making its debut in the region, and Caribbean Princess.
The programme will include 17 departures, sailing from New York City, Boston, and Quebec City. The itineraries will last between 7 and 13 nights, covering 14 destinations in ten U.S. states and Canadian provinces. Stops will include 6 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and there will be 4 late-night port stays labeled “More Ashore.”
Regal Princess will conduct 7-night round-trip cruises from New York, calling at ports such as Boston, Saint John (Bay of Fundy), Newport, and Halifax. Caribbean Princess will run 10- and 11-night voyages between Boston and Quebec City, with overnight stays in Quebec and scenic passage through the Saguenay Fjord and the St. Lawrence River.
Guests will have the option to extend their journey via cruisetours. One is the Historic America Cruisetour, which will include visits to Washington, D.C.; Monticello; Colonial Williamsburg; Independence Hall in Philadelphia; and Gettysburg Battlefield. Another is the Maple Explorer Cruisetour, focusing on Canadian destinations including Niagara Falls, Ottawa, Montréal, and the Rideau Canal.
Princess Cruises projects that this offering will appeal to travellers wishing to experience autumn foliage, regional heritage, and coastal scenery. Among the natural highlights is the Bay of Fundy, where the tides reach up to 53 feet.
The itinerary has been described by the company’s Chief Commercial Officer, Jim Berra, as intended to provide departures from iconic embarkation points (including Manhattan past the Statue of Liberty), visits to historic and scenic ports, and opportunities to sample regional cuisine.
