Silversea has announced the launch of its Grand Voyage Mediterranean 2025, a 55-day journey that will span 12 countries and connect 45 destinations between Lisbon and Barcelona. Sailing from September 24th to November 18th, the Silver Spirit will traverse the Iberian Peninsula, Western Mediterranean, Adriatic, and Greek Isles, combining prominent cities with less-visited ports.
The company noted that the voyage had been curated to appeal to travelers who may already know the Mediterranean but seek a slower pace and deeper cultural engagement. The itinerary highlights both major centers such as Venice, Dubrovnik, and Naples, and smaller harbors including Kotor and Trapani.
The first stage of the sailing covers Iberia, with calls at Gibraltar, Malaga, Ibiza, and Valencia, before moving east to Monaco and Italy’s Amalfi Coast. The route then continues into the Adriatic, visiting Croatia’s coastal cities, and later to the islands of Greece. The return westward leads back through Sicily and onward to Spain, with the voyage concluding in Barcelona.
Among the programmed experiences are culinary and cultural encounters through Silversea’s S.A.L.T. program, including tastings of regional produce in Corfu and guided walks through Ibiza’s Natural Park of Ses Salines.
The voyage also features three exclusive events designed specifically for this itinerary. In Monaco, guests will attend a private evening at Mirazur, a three-Michelin-starred restaurant on the French Riviera. In Rhodes, they will experience a Grecian soirée with traditional food, wine, and performances in the medieval town. In Sicily, a guided evening in Noto will include regional cuisine and music within the setting of a former monastery.
The Silver Spirit itself is equipped with suites offering ocean views, most with private verandas. With one of the highest space-to-guest ratios at sea, the vessel features eight dining venues and Silversea’s butler service across all accommodations.
The Grand Voyage Mediterranean 2025 forms part of Silversea’s broader program of extended itineraries, which also includes the Grand Voyage Australia 2025 aboard Silver Nova, the Grand Voyage South Pacific Expedition 2026 aboard Silver Cloud, the Grand Voyage Mediterranean 2026 aboard Silver Spirit, and the Grand Voyage South America 2027 aboard Silver Nova.
