StarDream Cruises has confirmed that its flagship Star Navigator (fka Resorts World One) returns to homeport Keelung (Taiwan China) in February 2026, following a period of homeporting in Kaohsiung.
Between February 17th and December 11th, the vessel will operate a 10-month program offering a variety of itineraries across Japan and South Korea. The schedule is structured to appeal to a range of travel preferences, from weekend voyages and 4- or 5-night escapes to an extended 7-night summer itinerary reaching Tokyo.
The centrepiece of the 2026 deployment will be a one-time, 7-night sailing departing on August 2nd. This voyage will include calls at Kochi, Yokohama, Shimizu, and Osaka (via Wakayama), presenting guests with a cross-section of Japanese coastal and cultural experiences—from Kochi’s samurai heritage to Shimizu’s views of Mount Fuji and Osaka’s noted culinary traditions.
Additional 5-night cruises will focus on Kyushu and Okinawa, with calls at Kagoshima, Kumamoto, Naha, Fukuoka, and Nagasaki. These routes combine Japan’s volcanic landscapes and historical influences with the relaxed atmosphere of its southern islands. Other sailings will link ports in Japan and South Korea, including Busan and Jeju, offering an integrated view of the region’s maritime geography.
Shorter cruises of 2 to 4 nights will visit Okinawa’s popular islands—Naha, Ishigaki, and Miyakojima—providing options for those seeking brief leisure breaks. For passengers preferring minimal travel time, 2- and 3-night high-seas cruises departing late in the evening are designed as weekend escapes.
According to StarDream Cruises President, Michael Goh, the 2026 program reflects growing interest in convenient regional cruise holidays and is expected to expand the company’s presence in the North Asian market.
Reservations will open on October 16th, 2025, through local travel agencies and the StarDream Cruises website.
