Viva Cruises (Scylla's subsidiary and luxury river travel brand) has released its 2027 sailing schedule for its 9-ship fleet, marking the most extensive programme in the company’s history. Two new vessels, Viva Beyond and Viva Unique, will join the Viva Boutique collection, operating itineraries from Venice and Paris respectively.
The new season introduces several routes across Europe, including sailings between Basel and Brussels, Dresden and Prague, and Amsterdam and Nuremberg, along with an expanded schedule for the popular Amsterdam to Budapest voyages. On the Douro River, Porto Mirante will operate 32 departures, while shorter 3-night “City Stay” cruises will run in both Paris and Venice.
To accompany the launch, the operator has introduced a limited-time onboard credit offer for new bookings made between October 15th and November 15th, with the value determined by cruise duration.
Chief executive Andrea Kruse noted that this represents the earliest release of an annual programme in the company’s history, reflecting Viva Cruises’ focus on innovation, guest satisfaction, and long-term partnerships. She explained that the decision to advance the launch allows guests from different international markets—some of which traditionally book well in advance—to plan their river journeys with greater choice and flexibility.
