Oceania Cruises will deploy its vessel Oceania Allura for its first full winter season in the Mediterranean in 2027–2028, offering a collection of 17 sailings from November through March that focus on cooler-season travel, less-visited ports and extended stays.
The itineraries, which range from 9 to 26 days, enable guests to unpack once and sail from Barcelona in the west to Istanbul in the east, visiting destinations such as Montenegro’s Bay of Kotor and Sardinia’s Cagliari during the off-peak season.
According to the cruise line’s planning executive, the winter schedule is designed to allow travellers to explore Europe in a more thoughtful pace, with longer port stays and overnight visits, set within a season characterised by the region’s cooler air and fresh skies.
On board Oceania Allura, guests will access enriching programmes including hands-on cooking classes in the Culinary Center, art workshops in the Artist Loft, and digital-skill lessons in the LYNC Digital Center—features highlighted by the line as part of its destination-focused luxury offering.
Through this deployment, Oceania Cruises aims to broaden its Mediterranean portfolio by introducing a winter-season product that emphasises hospitality, destination immersion and a slower pace of exploration while maintaining its hallmark culinary and service standards.
