Celestyal has expanded the shore excursion program for its new "Iconic Arabia" itineraries, which will commence in December 2025 aboard the 1,360-guest Celestyal Discovery. The vessel will operate a series of 3-, 4-, and 7-night cruises roundtrip from its seasonal homeport in Abu Dhabi.
The updated program introduces new tours for the line's maiden call to Ras Al Khaimah, alongside additional options in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Ports of call for these itineraries will include Doha, Qatar; Khasab, Oman; Dubai, UAE; and Sir Bani Yas Island. The fares, starting from US$339 per person, are inclusive of meals, select beverages, Wi-Fi, port fees, and gratuities.
The shore excursions comprise half-day, full-day, and 2-day options. The program also features "Authentic Encounters," which are designed to provide more intimate experiences with local cultures and smaller group sizes. Noted tours include a full-day desert and mountain tour in Ras Al Khaimah, a pearl farming encounter, a half-day tour in Dubai featuring the Ain Dubai observation wheel, and various cultural and culinary explorations in Abu Dhabi. A full-day excursion to Yas Waterworld is also offered.
This expansion follows a 3-year partnership agreement between Celestyal and the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, established to promote the emirate as a key destination. The company's Chief Commercial Officer, Lee Haslett, stated that the new excursions are intended to provide guests with insider access to the region's culture, history, and natural landscapes, connecting travelers with the authentic character of each destination.
