Crown Princess has resumed operations following a scheduled drydock in Singapore, re-entering service with a series of venue upgrades and general refurbishments intended to refresh the ship ahead of its forthcoming deployment.
The 3080-passenger ship now features several reconfigured public spaces alongside routine technical and hotel maintenance completed during the yard period.
Among the principal additions is O’Malley’s Irish Pub & Sports Bar, introduced as part of Princess Cruises’ established pub concept and replacing the former Wheelhouse Bar (Deck 7). The venue has been arranged to accommodate 134 guests, including bar seating, and is designed to serve traditional pub-style fare and a broad beverage selection. The space has been configured to support live music and informal social use, aligning with similar installations across the fleet.
The ship’s Casino has also been redesigned and reintroduced as Gatsby’s Casino (Deck 6). The refurbishment includes a revised layout, updated gaming equipment, a renewed casino bar and an upgraded cashier area, with the intent of improving circulation and guest comfort while maintaining a full complement of table games and slot machines.
Another notable change is the addition of an EFFY Lounge and High-End Vault, replacing the former Internet Café (Deck 5). This space has been dedicated to showcasing jewellery collections from the NYC-based brand, with a layout adapted for retail display and consultation.
The company's scheduled drydock program is an ongoing approach to modernize shipboard facilities and venues to guest preferences, while maintaining the service standards associated with the brand.
Crown Princess is scheduled to arrive in Sydney NSW on January 4th, 2026, where she will begin a series of cruises around Australia running through May of that year.
On May 10th, 2026, the ship is due to start a 114-day World Cruise leaving round-trip from Sydney.
