Crown Princess has resumed operations following a scheduled drydock in Singapore, re-entering service with a series of venue upgrades and general refurbishments intended to refresh the ship ahead of its forthcoming deployment. The 113,561-gross-ton vessel, with capacity for approximately 3,080 guests, now features several reconfigured public spaces alongside routine technical and hotel maintenance completed during the yard period.

Among the principal additions is O’Malley’s Irish Pub, introduced as part of Princess Cruises’ established pub concept and replacing the former Wheelhouse Bar. The venue has been arranged to accommodate 134 guests, including bar seating, and is designed to serve traditional pub-style fare and a broad beverage selection. The space has been configured to support live music and informal social use, aligning with similar installations across the fleet.

The ship’s casino has also been redesigned and reintroduced as Gatsby’s Casino. The refurbishment includes a revised layout, updated gaming equipment, a renewed casino bar and an upgraded cashier area, with the intent of improving circulation and guest comfort while maintaining a full complement of table games and slot machines.

Another notable change is the addition of an EFFY Lounge and High-End Vault, replacing the former Internet Café. This space has been dedicated to showcasing jewellery collections from the New York-based brand, with a layout adapted for retail display and consultation.

Princess Cruises has indicated that the drydock programme formed part of its ongoing approach to modernising onboard facilities and adapting venues to current guest preferences, while maintaining the service standards associated with the brand. With the work completed, Crown Princess is positioned for her next operational phase.

The vessel is scheduled to arrive in Sydney on January 4th, 2026, where she will begin a series of cruises around Australia running through May of that year. On May 10th, 2026, Crown Princess is due to depart Sydney on a 114-day world cruise, sailing round-trip as part of Princess Cruises’ long-duration itinerary programme.
