Crown Princess deck plans

Crown Princess (built in 2006, last refurbished in 2022) is the seventh of the nine GRAND-class Princess Cruises ships, alongside her sister ships Emerald and Ruby.

The Crown Princess deck plan includes a total of 1,531 cabins for 3,062 passengers (lower berths; maximum capacity is 3,674), served by 1,200 crew members. The ship has 18 decks (15 accessible to passengers, 8 with cabins), 12 restaurants and bars, 8 lounges, 4 swimming pools (plus 2 splash pools), 7 jacuzzies, and 14 elevators.

Passenger-use launderettes (laundromats) are located on decks 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 14. These are self-service laundry rooms equipped with ironing boards and provided detergent.

Crown Princess Deck Plan Changes – 2018 Refurbishment Review

The ship’s 2018 drydock (a 10-day project from March 24 to April 3) took place at Grand Bahama Shipyard in Freeport, Bahamas. Following the refurbishment, the vessel introduced the following new and enhanced features:

• Four top-deck dining venues were renovated, enhanced, and renamed: Salty Dog Grill, Slice, Coffee & Cones, and The Mix.
• The Salty Dog Grill (formerly Trident Grill) now serves Princess burgers made with 100% all-beef patties on freshly baked buns, as well as Street Tacos with options like roasted sweet potato–green chile or grilled chipotle-lime chicken.
• Slice (formerly Prego Pizzeria) offers Neapolitan-style pizza.
• Coffee & Cones (formerly Sundaes Ice Cream Bar) features complimentary ice cream cones, gourmet ice cream sandwiches, and specialty coffee brewed under the “New Grounds Crafted Coffee” program.
• Sabatini’s was renamed “Sabatini’s Trattoria.”
• The Sun Deck’s LED screen (at the outdoor theater) was replaced with a larger one.
• Horizon Court (the buffet restaurant) received new upholstery.
• The Mix (formerly Mermaid’s Tale) was updated as a poolside bar with an enhanced menu.
• The Club Class Mini-Suite was introduced as a new premium cabin category, featuring exclusive dining and VIP amenities such as Club Class Dining with a reserved area, expanded menu, expedited seating, and priority embarkation and disembarkation.
• All staterooms were upgraded with custom-made Princess Luxury Beds.
• The Camp Discovery Center (for kids and teens aged 3–17) was added in partnership with Discovery Channel as part of the “Discovery at Sea” enrichment program.
• The wellness complex (Lotus Spa and Fitness Center) received upgraded treatment rooms, a renovated beauty salon, and new state-of-the-art training equipment in the fitness area.
• The Casino was refreshed with new carpets, lighting fixtures, and flat-screen TVs at the bar.
• The onboard retail area, Shops of Princess, was upgraded, and a new Effy Fine Jewelry boutique was added.

All lounges received new carpeting, and all soft furnishings were cleaned.

Ocean Medallion digital connectivity technology was also installed.
