Crown Princess cabins review
Crown Princess has 887 balcony cabins, representing 80% of the 1,108 outside staterooms. There are 31 wheelchair-accessible cabins for disabled passengers, including 1 suite, 4 mini-suites, 16 balcony cabins, 4 oceanview, and 6 interior cabins.
Below is a review of Crown Princess staterooms, covering amenities, furnishings, and included (complimentary) services:
Crown Princess Suites feature a walk-in closet with ample storage, a living room with a sofa bed and desk, a vanity, table, armchairs, and a bathroom with a toilet, shower stall, whirlpool bathtub, and double sinks.
Family Suites consist of three connected rooms, with the living room in the center. Each bedroom includes ample closet space, a bathroom with shower and bathtub, a desk, and drawers. The living room offers a sofa bed, and floor-to-ceiling sliding doors that open to a large balcony.
Additional suite amenities include deluxe mattresses and pillows, two smart HDTVs, a CD/DVD player, upgraded bathroom products (massage showerheads and luxury toiletries), premium balcony furniture, and complimentary services such as access to the Spa Thermal Suite, Internet Café, laundry/dry cleaning, and a one-time mini-bar setup.
All balcony accommodations include floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors opening to a private verandah furnished with a round table and patio chairs.
Balcony cabins offer ample closet space, a bathroom with a shower, a desk, drawers, and some include additional beds for a third or fourth guest.
Oceanview cabins include a picture window. Category OE has a porthole window, while category OV features an obstructed view.
Inside cabins are the same size and have the same amenities as oceanview cabins but do not include a window.
All Crown Princess staterooms feature a living area with a vanity, desk, and seating, two twin beds convertible to a queen, deluxe bedding with Egyptian cotton linens, a closet, smart HDTV (with infotainment system, internet, and on-demand movies), direct-dial phone, electronic safe, lifejackets, hairdryer, bath products (shampoo, body lotion, conditioner), mini-bar/fridge, individual air conditioning, evening turndown service, and complimentary 24-hour room service.
During the 2018 drydock refurbishment, all staterooms were upgraded with the new signature "Princess Luxury Bed." Developed in collaboration with Dr. Michael Breus ("The Sleep Doctor") and designer Candice Olson, the beds feature a luxury pillow-top mattress, individually wrapped coils to minimize surface sway, and hypoallergenic duvets.
The “Club Class Mini-Suite” category, introduced fleetwide in 2017, offers VIP-level accommodations. These mini-suites come with exclusive benefits such as Club Class Dining, Elite Lounge access, complimentary in-cabin hors d’oeuvres, and priority embarkation, disembarkation, and tendering. Club Class Dining includes a reserved section in the main dining room (MDR) with expedited seating, dedicated waitstaff, an exclusive menu featuring chef’s specials, and tableside dish preparation. Breakfast and dinner are available daily, with lunch offered on sea days only. These cabins replaced some existing mini-suites but retained the same size and layout.
