Majestic Princess cabins review
Majestic Princess has 1,438 cabins with balconies (80% of all staterooms). Wheelchair-accessible cabins (for disabled passengers) number 36, including 29 balcony and 7 inside cabins. There are 38 total cabin categories. Like her sister ships and NCL Epic, Majestic Princess has no Oceanview cabins (no outside staterooms with Picture- or Porthole windows).
Below is a review of Majestic Princess staterooms, including amenities, furnishings, and complimentary services:
All Majestic Princess Suites feature a private balcony, walk-in closet (ample storage), living room (with sofa bed, desk, vanity, table, armchairs), and bathroom (WC, shower, whirlpool bathtub, double sinks, marble countertops, and floors). Bonus amenities include deluxe mattresses and pillows, two flat-screen TVs, upgraded bathroom products (massage showerheads, luxury toiletries, robes, terry towels), and luxury balcony furniture.
Balcony Suites are available in three grades – S2 Owner’s, S4 Penthouse, and S5 Premium. The balcony sizes of S2 Owner’s Suites are: 210 ft2 / 20 m2 (Decks 15-Marina, 14-Riviera, 9-Dolphin), 120 ft2 / 11 m2 (Decks 12-Aloha, 10-Caribe), and 190 ft2 / 18 m2 (Decks 11-Baja, 8-Emerald). In addition, S2 Owner’s Suites include a separate bathroom and a powder room (guest bathroom).
S-grade Balcony Suites offer additional perks: a choice of three deluxe mattresses, iPod docking station, sun loungers on the balcony, bathroom with separate shower stall, complimentary services (Internet Cafe, laundry/dry cleaning), and exclusive access to the Concierge Lounge (Deck 14).
Most Balcony staterooms and Mini Suites accommodate up to three guests, with some offering extra beds for a fourth passenger. All balcony accommodations feature floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors opening onto a private veranda. Except for the Owner’s Suites, verandas are narrow and furnished with two patio chairs, a small round table, and footstools. Balcony railings are either made of toughened glass or solid steel.
Standard and Premium Balcony cabins include ample closet space, bathroom (shower), sofa bed, desk, and drawers, with bathrobes and towels provided. Deluxe Balcony cabins (grades DV, DW, DZ) and Standard Balcony cabins (grades BV, BW, BY, BZ) have partially obstructed views.
Inside cabins offer the same size and amenities as Oceanview rooms but without windows.
All Majestic Princess cabins include a living area (vanity, desk, seating), two twin beds (convertible to queen), deluxe bedding (Egyptian cotton linens), closet, smart HDTV (infotainment system, Internet, on-demand movies), direct-dial phone, electronic safe, lifejackets (in closet), hairdryer, complimentary toiletries (shampoo, body lotion, conditioner), mini-bar/fridge, individual air-conditioning, evening turndown service, and 24-hour complimentary room service.
All staterooms are fitted with Princess’s signature “Princess Luxury Bed,” developed in collaboration with PhD Michael Breus (“The Sleep Doctor”) and designer Candice Olson. These beds feature a luxury pillow-top mattress, individually wrapped coils to minimize surface movement, and hypoallergenic duvets.
The “Club Class Mini-Suite” is a cabin category introduced fleetwide in 2017. These VIP Mini Suites offer complimentary perks including “Club Class Dining,” exclusive access to the Elite Lounge, in-cabin dining with hors d’oeuvres, and priority embarkation, disembarkation, and tendering. Club Class Dining is held in a dedicated section of the main dining room (MDR), reserved for Club Suite guests, featuring expedited seating, dedicated waiter service, an exclusive menu with chef’s specials, and tableside dish preparation. This dining option is available daily for breakfast and dinner, and for lunch on sea days. Club Class Mini Suites replaced some existing Mini Suites but retained the same size and layout as the other Mini Suite categories.
