Star Princess cabins and suites

Star Princess staterooms with balconies total 1,518 (~70% of all 2,157 staterooms), including 469 suites, 949 Standard, and 100 Cove balconies. The ship offers 32 cabin categories in total. Of all suites, 389 are Mini-Suites, including 146 in the new Cabana category.

Wheelchair-accessible cabins (for disabled passengers) number 55, including 14 Suites (1 Sky, 1 Owner, 2 Penthouse, 2 Signature, 4 Cabana Mini, 4 Mini), 22 Deluxe Balcony, 6 Premium Oceanview, and 13 Interior cabins. These ADA-certified cabins are larger than standard units in their category and are located close to elevators.

Princess Cruises introduced on SPHERE-class ships the "Reserve Collection" Mini-Suites (with exclusive access to a private restaurant) and the "Signature Collection" staterooms (suite categories) featuring premium cabin amenities and exclusive access to Signature venues (Restaurant, Lounge, Sundeck), plus a private area within The Sanctuary (adults-only relaxation complex with loungers and cabanas).

The new resort-style "Reserve Collection Cabana" cabins feature a balcony-cabana combination, with the open-air veranda accessed via a large outdoor patio lounge.

Most staterooms on Star Princess are configured as quads (accommodating up to 4 passengers), while only the Signature Sky Suites accommodate up to 5 guests. Unlike the earlier ROYAL-class ships, the SPHERE-class Star Princess includes outside cabins without balconies (Premium Oceanview category) fitted with large non-opening picture windows.

All balcony cabins feature floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors opening to a private step-out veranda. Most balconies are relatively small (approximately 35 ft2 / 3 m2), furnished with two patio chairs, footstools, and a round table. Balcony railings are either toughened glass or solid steel. Balcony cabins offer ample closet space, a bathroom with shower, and a double sofabed.

Star Princess suites are available in six types: Signature Sky (SO), Signature Owner (S2), Signature Penthouse (S4), Signature (S9), Cabana Mini-Suites (C1-C2 Reserve, CA-CB), and Mini-Suites (M1-M2 Reserve, MA, MD). All suites include premium amenities such as deluxe bedding (mattresses, toppers, pillows, linens), two HDTVs, a portable hairdryer, Nespresso coffee machine, upgraded bathroom features (massage showerheads, luxury bath products, robes, terry towels), and upgraded terrace furniture.

Additional suite-only perks include a choice of three deluxe mattresses, iPod docking station, padded balcony loungers, bathrooms with separate shower and bathtub, and various priority services.

Signature Collection suites include further benefits such as priority services (check-in, service desk, disembarkation, tender boarding, dining and excursion reservations), in-cabin dining (afternoon tea, canapes), a welcome bottle of Champagne and Chef’s treats on embarkation day, CD/DVD player with media library access, fresh flowers, upgraded bath amenities, exclusive dining (including breakfast at Sabatini’s and access to the Elite Lounge), Spa Thermal Suite access, specialty dining on embarkation night, expanded room service menu, and enhanced turndown service (premium chocolates or chocolate-dipped strawberries).

Signature Sky Suites (aft on Deck 16) are two-room accommodations with large terraces, walk-in closets, a living room (sofabed, desk, vanity, table, armchairs), separate bedroom, and two bathrooms (featuring shower, whirlpool bathtub, double-sink vanity, marble finishes), plus a powder room.

All Star Princess cabins include standard amenities such as a living area (mirrored vanity, desk, seating), twin beds convertible to a queen-size bed (with additional berths in select cabins), premium bedding (100% Egyptian cotton, high thread count), wardrobe, desk, smart HDTV (infotainment, Internet, on-demand movies), direct-dial phone, electronic safe, lifejackets (in the closet), hairdryer, bath products, minibar/refrigerator, individual air conditioning, evening turndown service (with chocolates), and complimentary 24-hour room service.

All staterooms are equipped with the signature "Princess Luxury Bed", developed in collaboration with sleep expert Dr. Michael Breus and designer Candice Olson. These beds feature pillow-top mattresses, individually wrapped coils (to reduce motion), and hypoallergenic duvets.

Self-service launderettes are available on decks 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, and 16, equipped with washers, dryers, ironing boards, and detergent.

The "Club Class Mini-Suite" category (introduced fleetwide in 2017) offers VIP-style amenities, including Club Class Dining, exclusive lounge access, complimentary in-cabin hors d’oeuvres, and priority embarkation, disembarkation, and tendering. Club Class Dining features a dedicated area within the Main Dining Room, expedited seating, dedicated waitstaff, exclusive menu options, and tableside preparation of selected dishes. It is available daily for breakfast and dinner, and for lunch on sea days.
