Caribbean Princess cabins review

Caribbean Princess cabins with balconies number 881, accounting for 80% of all 1,111 outside staterooms. There are 25 wheelchair-accessible cabins for disabled passengers, including 1 suite, 16 balcony cabins, 4 oceanview cabins, and 4 interior cabins.

Below is a review of Caribbean Princess staterooms, highlighting amenities, furnishings, and included (complimentary) services:

Caribbean Princess Suites with private balconies (Grand Suites, all grades of Balcony Suites, and Mini-Suites) feature a walk-in closet (ample storage space), a living room with a sofa bed and desk, a vanity, table, armchairs, and a bathroom with WC, shower stall, whirlpool bathtub, and double sinks.

Family Suites consist of three connected rooms, with the living room in the center. Each bedroom has ample closet space, a bathroom (shower and bathtub), a desk, and drawers. The living room includes a sofa bed and floor-to-ceiling sliding doors opening onto a large balcony. Window Suites offer a picture window, walk-in closet, refrigerator, bathroom (with separate tub and shower), and a living room.

All Suites include bonus amenities such as deluxe mattresses and pillows, two smart HDTVs, CD/DVD player, upgraded bathroom amenities (massage showerheads and luxury bath products), luxury balcony furniture, and complimentary services including access to the Spa Thermal Suite, Internet Café, laundry/dry cleaning service, and a one-time stocked minibar.

All balcony cabins have floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open to a private verandah furnished with a round table and patio chairs. These cabins offer ample closet space, a bathroom with a shower, desk, drawers, and some accommodate a 3rd or 4th guest with additional beds.

Oceanview cabins include a picture window. Category OE cabins feature a porthole window, while category OV cabins have an obstructed view. Inside cabins share the same size and amenities as oceanview cabins but do not include a window.

All Caribbean Princess cabins include a living area (with vanity, desk, and seating), two twin beds convertible to a queen-size bed, deluxe bedding sets with Egyptian cotton linens, a closet, desk, smart HDTV (with infotainment system, Internet access, and on-demand movies), direct-dial phone, electronic safe, lifejackets (stored in the closet), hairdryer, bath products (shampoo, body lotion, conditioner), mini-bar/refrigerator, individual air conditioning, evening turndown service, and complimentary 24-hour room service.

During the 2017 drydock refurbishment, all staterooms were upgraded with the company's signature “Princess Luxury Bed.” Developed in collaboration with Dr. Michael Breus (known as “The Sleep Doctor”) and designer Candice Olson, these beds feature a luxury pillow-top mattress, individually wrapped coils to minimize surface sway, and hypoallergenic duvets.

The “Club Class Mini-Suite” cabin category was introduced fleetwide in 2017. These VIP-level Mini-Suites offer exclusive amenities and services, including “Club Class Dining,” access to the Elite Lounge, complimentary in-cabin hors d’oeuvres, and priority embarkation, disembarkation, and tendering. Club Class Dining features a reserved section within the Main Dining Room (MDR) for Club Suite guests only, offering expedited seating, dedicated waiter service, an exclusive menu with chef’s specials, and tableside dish preparation. This dining experience is available daily for breakfast and dinner, and for lunch on sea days only. The new suites replaced some existing Mini-Suites, although cabin size and layout remain identical to other Mini-Suite categories.
