Regal Princess cabins review
Regal Princess has 1,438 balcony cabins (80% of all staterooms). There are 36 wheelchair-accessible cabins for disabled passengers (29 Balcony and 7 Inside). The ship offers a total of 38 cabin categories. Similar to her sisterships and NCL Epic, Regal Princess has no Oceanview cabins (no outside staterooms with picture or porthole windows).
Below is the review of Regal Princess staterooms, including amenities, furnishings, and complimentary services.
All staterooms accommodate up to four passengers. All balcony cabins feature floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open onto a private step-out veranda. Most balconies are relatively small and narrow (approximately 40 ft² / 4 m²) and are furnished with two patio chairs, a round table, and footstools. Balcony railings are either toughened glass or solid steel. Balcony staterooms provide ample closet space, a bathroom with shower and WC, a double sofabed, a desk with chair, and a chest of drawers.
Regal Princess Suites are available in two main types: Balcony Suites (S2-Owner’s, S3-S4-Penthouse, S5-Premium) and Mini-Suites (MA, MB, MC, ME, MF, M1-M6-Premium). All Suites include bonus amenities such as deluxe mattresses and pillows, two TVs, upgraded bathroom features (massage showerheads, luxury bath products, bathrobes, and terry towels), and upgraded balcony furniture. Balcony Suites offer additional perks, including a choice of three deluxe mattresses, an iPod docking station, sun loungers on the balcony, a bathroom with a separate shower stall, complimentary services (Internet Café access, laundry and dry cleaning), and exclusive access to the Concierge Lounge (Deck 14).
All Regal Princess cabins offer the following standard complimentary amenities: a living area (vanity, desk, seating), two twin beds (convertible to a queen-size bed), deluxe bedding (Egyptian cotton linens), wardrobe, desk, smart HDTV (infotainment system with Internet and on-demand movies), direct-dial phone, electronic safe (with lifejackets stored in the closet), hairdryer, bath products (shampoo, conditioner, body lotion), minibar/fridge, individual air conditioning, evening turndown service, and complimentary 24-hour room service.
All staterooms are fitted with the signature “Princess Luxury Bed.” This cruise bed was developed in collaboration with Dr. Michael Breus (known as “The Sleep Doctor”) and designer Candice Olson. The beds feature a luxury pillow-top mattress, individually wrapped coils (to reduce motion transfer), and hypoallergenic duvets.
Passenger launderettes (self-service laundromats) are located on decks 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, and 16. These facilities include ironing boards, and detergent is provided.
The “Club Class Mini-Suite” is a cabin category introduced fleetwide in 2017. These VIP Mini-Suites include complimentary benefits such as Club Class Dining, exclusive access to the Elite Lounge, complimentary in-cabin hors d’oeuvres, and priority embarkation, disembarkation, and tendering. Club Class Dining features a dedicated section within the Main Dining Room (MDR) reserved exclusively for Club Suite guests. This enhanced dining experience includes expedited seating, dedicated waitstaff, an exclusive menu with Chef’s specials, and tableside preparation of select dishes. Club Class Dining is available daily for breakfast and dinner, and for lunch on sea days only. These new suites replaced some existing Mini-Suites, while maintaining the same size and layout as other Mini-Suite categories.
