Grand Princess (1998-built, last refurbished in April-May 2025) is the first of nine GRAND-class Princess Cruises ships, together with Caribbean, Crown, Diamond, Emerald, Golden (Carnival Adventure, sistership), Ruby, Sapphire, and Star (Carnival Encounter).
The Grand Princess deck plan includes a total of 1301 cabins for 2602 passengers (lower berths; max capacity 3122), served by 1150 crew. The ship has 16 decks (13 accessible to passengers, 8 with cabins), 14 restaurants and bars, 7 lounges, 4 swimming pools, 8 outdoor Jacuzzis, and 14 elevators.
Passenger-use launderettes (self-service laundromats) are located on decks 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. These facilities provide ironing boards and detergent.
The 2019 wet-dock refurbishment took place in Portland, Oregon.
