CCL-Carnival Cruise Line has cancelled a series of short voyages that had been scheduled aboard the vessel Carnival Firenze during the autumn season.
The cancellations affect 11 departures originally planned between October 12th and November 16th, all of which were to sail from Long Beach.
The affected cruises were designed as short itineraries of 3 and 4 days’ duration. According to the cruise line, the decision followed a revision of the ship’s operational schedule, which involves adjustments to both itineraries and voyage lengths. The company indicated through a spokesperson that the cancellations were linked to these changes in deployment, though further details regarding the revised routes were not disclosed.
Passengers who had reservations on the cancelled sailings have been notified directly by Carnival Cruise Line, along with their respective travel advisors. Those affected have been offered the option of transferring their booking to another sailing of comparable type, retaining similar cabin arrangements and the original fare conditions, or alternatively requesting a full refund of the cruise payment.
