The vessel Quantum of the Seas is set to return to service from Singapore for the 2027–2028 winter season, marking a continuation of its deployment within the Asian cruise market. Operating under RCI-Royal Caribbean, the ship will undertake a programme of voyages ranging from short regional sailings to extended itineraries across East and Southeast Asia.

The seasonal deployment, scheduled between October 2027 and March 2028, is structured to provide roundtrip sailings from Singapore, a port noted for its connectivity and established role in regional cruise operations. Itineraries will vary in duration from three to ten nights, linking ports across Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Japan, thereby offering a range of routing options within a single deployment cycle.

The cruise line indicated that the vessel has established a consistent presence in the region in previous seasons and that the forthcoming programme reflects sustained demand for itineraries combining short leisure voyages with longer, multi-destination passages. The range of sailings includes brief departures focused on nearby ports such as Penang and Phuket, as well as extended routes reaching Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, and selected Japanese ports, including Tokyo, Nagoya, and Kobe.

The deployment is designed to accommodate both locally based passengers and those travelling on fly-cruise arrangements, with Singapore serving as both embarkation and disembarkation point. This operational model allows for logistical efficiency while maintaining access to a wide network of regional destinations.

Onboard operations will continue to centre on the vessel’s established entertainment and leisure infrastructure, with the schedule structured to balance port calls and sea days across varying itinerary lengths. Royal Caribbean further indicated that the programme builds upon previous seasonal performance in the region, where demand has supported a mix of short-format cruises and longer voyages across multiple markets.
