CCL-Carnival Cruise Line has renewed its partnership with maritime software provider Maranics for a third consecutive year, continuing a collaboration that has expanded significantly since its initial implementation across the fleet. The agreement underscores the cruise line’s continued investment in digital solutions designed to support shipboard operations, compliance management and operational efficiency.

Maranics supplies workflow digitalisation tools that assist both onboard crews and shoreside personnel in managing operational processes, safety procedures and regulatory compliance. What began as a focused digitalisation initiative has evolved into a broader operational partnership, with the platform now supporting an increasing number of workflows across Carnival Cruise Line’s fleet of 29 ships. New applications have been introduced each year, extending the system’s role throughout the organisation.

According to Maranics, the latest renewal reflects Carnival’s continued confidence in the platform and the value it delivers to daily operations. The company noted that the relationship has developed beyond the continued use of software, with Carnival regularly identifying additional applications and integrating the platform more deeply into its operational framework.

Carnival Cruise Line indicated that the system has become an important tool in supporting compliance, safety management and operational consistency across its fleet. The cruise line, which carries nearly six million guests annually, continues to utilise the platform to enhance coordination between shipboard and shoreside teams while maintaining standardised operational practices.

The contract extension further reinforces Carnival’s broader commitment to innovation and the adoption of digital technologies aimed at supporting crew members, streamlining operational processes and contributing to the overall guest experience.
