Virgin Voyages has introduced a programme of 38 new Caribbean departures aboard Resilient Lady for 2028, further strengthening its presence in the region with a series of shorter itineraries operating from Miami between May and October.

The newly released voyages, now open for booking, will be operated on a roundtrip basis from Miami and will focus primarily on 4- and 5-night cruises. The itineraries include calls at Key West, Grand Turk, Grand Cayman and Puerto Plata, together with visits to the company’s private destination, the The Beach Club at Bimini.

The programme consists of twelve 4-night voyages to Key West and Bimini, featuring a call at Key West, a day at sea and a visit to Bimini. A further twelve 5-night sailings will combine Grand Turk with Bimini and two sea days. Ten departures will call at Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic and Bimini, while three itineraries will include George Town in Grand Cayman alongside Bimini.

The schedule will also feature a themed Halloween voyage departing Miami on October 28th, 2028. The 5-night cruise will call at Grand Turk and Bimini and include two sea days. As with previous Halloween departures, onboard programming is expected to include seasonal entertainment, themed events, costumes and special food and beverage offerings.

These voyages will follow Resilient Lady’s planned dry dock in August 2027. Guests will encounter refreshed public areas and updated onboard facilities, while Virgin Voyages has indicated that a new concept for the Razzle Dazzle venue will be introduced at a later stage.

Commenting on the deployment, Virgin Voyages’ UK sales leadership indicated that the additional sailings would provide greater choice for travellers seeking shorter Caribbean holidays while retaining the line’s adults-only cruise experience. The company also noted that the itineraries offer travel advisors an attractive option for clients combining a Florida stay with a premium cruise, as well as for those seeking shorter Caribbean voyages featuring the line’s established emphasis on dining, entertainment, wellness and inclusive pricing.

All departures will continue to include Virgin Voyages’ standard package of onboard inclusions, covering access to more than 20 dining venues, Wi-Fi, essential beverages, group fitness classes and entertainment.

The new programme has been launched alongside the company’s current balcony upgrade promotion, which allows guests to reserve a Sea Terrace cabin at the same fare as a Sea View cabin through July 31st. Virgin Voyages is also offering an incentive programme for travel advisors on bookings made before June 30th across its entire cruise portfolio.
