Oceania Cruises has introduced its 2027 Specialty Cruises programme, combining destination-focused itineraries with hosted experiences centred on cuisine, culture and regional heritage. The collection will feature voyages across the Mediterranean, the Baltic and Japan, offering guests opportunities to travel alongside recognised culinary figures, travel experts and senior executives while participating in exclusive onboard events and destination-focused activities.

Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Oceania Cruises, stated that the programme has been designed to pair port-intensive itineraries with hosts capable of providing greater insight into the destinations visited. He indicated that each sailing aims to strengthen guests' understanding of local cultures through experiences available exclusively on these specialty departures.

Several voyages will feature culinary personalities, including Claudine Pépin, Sara Moulton and Oceania Cruises' Executive Culinary Directors, Chef Alexis Quaretti and Chef Eric Barale. Through cooking demonstrations, tasting sessions, themed dinners and informal discussions, guests will have the opportunity to explore regional cuisines while learning about the traditions and cultural influences behind them.

The programme also incorporates destination experts. Television travel presenter Samantha Brown will host a Mediterranean voyage from Trieste to Barcelona, sharing insights into selected ports of call throughout the itinerary. Later in the year, the annual Reunion Cruise aboard Oceania Aurelia will bring together members of the Oceania Club loyalty programme and first-time guests for a Mediterranean sailing hosted by senior company executives.

Among the featured departures is the 13-day Culinary Luminaries Specialty Cruise aboard Oceania Vista, departing Athens for Rome on June 2nd, 2027. The itinerary will focus on the culinary traditions of the Western Mediterranean through specially prepared menus, tastings, demonstrations and presentations led by Oceania's culinary team and invited guest chefs.

A second culinary-themed voyage will depart London aboard Oceania Marina on June 8th, 2027. Hosted by chef, author and television personality Sara Moulton, the 14-day Baltic itinerary will include regionally inspired menus, live cooking demonstrations, exclusive culinary events and a gala brunch highlighting the gastronomic traditions of Northern Europe.

On September 30th, 2027, Oceania Riviera will sail an 11-day roundtrip voyage from Tokyo hosted by Claudine Pépin. The itinerary will examine Japan's culinary heritage through onboard demonstrations, storytelling sessions, a gala brunch and selected shore excursions accompanied by Pépin.

The 10-day Samantha Brown Specialty Cruise will depart Trieste for Barcelona on November 7th, 2027 aboard Oceania Allura. Designed to provide additional context for destinations throughout the Adriatic and Western Mediterranean, the voyage will combine port visits with discussions and presentations highlighting the history and character of the regions visited.

The 2027 programme concludes with the 12-day Reunion Cruise aboard Oceania Aurelia, departing Trieste for Athens on December 6th. Hosted by Jason Montague and Neli Arias, Head of the Oceania Club, the voyage will feature themed events, destination experiences and celebrations for both returning and first-time guests. Oceania Cruises noted that all announced hosts and programmes remain subject to change.
