Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines will bring together its three ocean-going vessels—Bolette, Borealis and Balmoral—in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, on December 1st, 2026 for the latest edition of its Fleet Fiesta, one of the company's signature events. The reunion will provide guests and crew with a full day of celebrations, continuing a tradition that has become one of the highlights of the cruise line's annual programme.
The event will feature a programme of quayside and onboard activities, including the return of the Battle of the Bartenders, tug-of-war competitions between crew members, live entertainment and a range of interactive events. Guests will also have the opportunity to visit each of the three vessels, exploring public spaces, lounges, restaurants, open decks and the ships' art collections while meeting crew members from across the fleet.
The 2026 Fleet Fiesta follows the successful fleet gathering held in Funchal, Madeira, in November 2023, when Bolette, Borealis and Balmoral met for a day of celebrations before departing together beneath a fireworks display. The company has since established the fleet reunion as a recurring feature of its cruise calendar.
To coincide with the event, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has scheduled several itineraries that include the Fleet Fiesta. These comprise the 16-night Spain & Morocco Fleet Fiesta voyage aboard Bolette, departing Liverpool on November 21st, 2026; the 15-night adults-only Canary Islands Fleet Fiesta cruise aboard Borealis, sailing from Southampton on November 23rd; and the 10-night Canaries Escape with the Fleet Fiesta itinerary aboard Balmoral, departing Santa Cruz de Tenerife on November 30th.
With the Canary Islands providing favourable late-autumn cruising conditions, the company expects the Fleet Fiesta to once again serve as one of the principal attractions of its 2026 deployment, combining destination cruising with an event that allows passengers to experience the entire Fred. Olsen fleet gathered in a single port.
