Seabourn has opened bookings for its 2029 World Cruise, titled Iconic Islands & Remote Horizons, a 138-day voyage aboard Seabourn Quest covering 32,000+ nautical miles across 5 continents. The voyage will depart Miami on January 7th, 2029, and arrive in Lisbon on May 26th, visiting 58 destinations in 31 countries and territories, including more than 25 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The itinerary will span the Americas, South Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia, the Indian Ocean, Africa and Europe, combining major international destinations with smaller and more remote ports. The voyage is designed around longer stays and access to destinations that are less frequently included in large-ship world cruise programmes.
Among the destinations are Easter Island, Bora Bora, Zanzibar and Cape Town, alongside more remote calls including Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas, Praslin in the Seychelles, Antsiranana in Madagascar, Akaroa in New Zealand and Burnie in Tasmania. The relatively small size of Seabourn Quest will allow the ship to access ports that are less suitable for larger cruise vessels.
The itinerary includes more than 25 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, among them Easter Island, Fiordland National Park, Stone Town of Zanzibar and the Sacred City of Kandy.
To allow additional time ashore, the programme includes 20 extended stays, 8 of which are overnight calls. Overnight stops are scheduled in Lima, Easter Island, Bora Bora, Bali, Singapore, Sydney, Zanzibar and Cape Town. Other extended calls include Cartagena, Auckland, Napier, Melbourne, Portland, Adelaide, Busselton, Fremantle, Colombo, Victoria, Walvis Bay and Las Palmas.
Optional Seabourn Journeys will provide opportunities to extend the cruise with land-based programmes, including visits to the Galápagos Islands, Machu Picchu, Uluru, the Taj Mahal, African safari destinations and Easter Island.
Full World Cruise passengers will also have access to experiences created specifically for the 138-day voyage. These include an included 2-day, 1-night Seabourn Journey in Bali featuring cultural and culinary activities, village visits and encounters focused on local traditions.
In Cape Town, World Cruise guests will be offered an exclusive evening at the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa. The event will include private after-hours access, regional cuisine and live entertainment, with views of Table Mountain.
The onboard programme will complement the destinations with lectures and destination-focused presentations through Seabourn Conversations, culinary events, cultural performances and specially developed entertainment. Seabourn Quest will also operate following a recent dry dock that included extensive refurbishment of suites and public areas, dining venues and spa facilities.
Full World Cruise passengers will receive a range of additional benefits, including shipboard credit of up to US$4,000 per Veranda Suite and up to US$8,000 for Penthouse Suites and higher categories. The package also includes round-trip Business Class air, a one-night pre-cruise hotel stay in Miami, the Bali Seabourn Journey, an upgraded two-device Stream Wi-Fi package powered by Starlink, unlimited laundry, wet cleaning and pressing, a 50% deposit at booking and commemorative gifts.
Seabourn will also offer selected segments of the World Cruise for passengers who cannot commit to the complete 138-day itinerary. These extended voyage options will cover portions of the global route while retaining access to the onboard enrichment and service associated with the programme. Further details on the individual segments are expected to be released closer to launch.
The premium benefits reserved for full World Cruise passengers will not apply to the shorter segments. Guests booking the complete World Cruise or eligible segments by September 17th, 2026, will receive a 10% early-booking saving.
