Carnival Cruise Line Announces New Option From Jacksonville

Carnival Cruise Line recently announced it was bringing a unique cruise option to Jacksonville in spring 2018.

The voyage will be an 8-day round-trip cruise from Jacksonville beginning April 7 and will offer an overnight visit to Heritage Wharf, Bermuda, along with an extended stay at Half Moon Cay.

Including the newly added voyage on Carnival Elation from Jacksonville, in 2018 Carnival will offer nineteen 4- to 8-day Bermuda departing from 6 East Coast US ports, including Baltimore, Charleston, Fort Lauderdale, NYC and Port Canaveral.

Carnival Elation will also offer a special 3-port, 6-day Bahamas itinerary roundtrip from Jacksonville (between April 15-21, 2018) visiting Freeport, Half Moon Cay and Nassau.

The new itineraries complement the ship's year-round 4- and 5-day cruise schedule from JAXPORT. Carnival Elation is the only year-round based in Jacksonville cruise vessel and carries approx 170,000 passengers per year from the port.
