Royal Caribbean marked the official start of construction by cutting the first steel for its newest Quantum Ultra ship at Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.
The next engineering marvel in the cruise line’s line-up will be named Spectrum of the Seas.
Set to debut in 2019, she will be the next evolution of Royal Caribbean’s high-tech Quantum class of vessels placing the ship in a brand new class of her own.
The Quantum Ultra ship will be specifically designed for guests in China and Asia-Pacific region, and will boast cutting-edge and unprecedented amenities.
