Viking Unveils Second World Cruise

Ahead of its first World Cruise scheduled for the winter, Viking Cruises announced that its Viking Sun will continue sailing the globe on the company’s 2nd World Cruise, which is due to span 128 days, 5 continents, 21 countries and a total of 44 ports, with 10 overnights.

Departing January 3, 2019 on the soon-to-be delivered 4th vessel in Viking’s ocean fleet, the grand journey will mark the second voyage of Viking Sun around the world. The cruise ship will spend much of its maiden season on Viking’s first ever World Cruise, which departs Miami December 15, 2017.

Sailing out of Miami to London, the new World Cruise itinerary for 2019 allows passengers to explore South America and the South Pacific islands, call upon ports in Africa, and cruise Strait of Magellan, Indian Ocean and Tasman Sea before concluding in London.

Passengers receive a complimentary shore trip in each of the 44 ports of call, free unlimited Wi-Fi, Business Class airfare and all service fees and gratuities, along with added-value included features in the cruise fare.
