A sibling to Seven Seas Explorer, which debuted in 2016, the new ship will feature a lot of the same high-end amenities when it launches during the first quarter of 2020.
As part of the naming process of Splendor, Regent sought suggestions from its loyal guests, travel agents and employees for the vessel’s name in a sweepstakes held this September. The Seven Seas Splendor name was chosen among about 2,600 unique names from over 14,000 submissions.
Like Seven Seas Explorer, the all-suite, all-balcony newbuild will have a capacity of 750 passengers. Details on the inaugural season of Seven Seas Splendor are expected to be revealed soon.
