Port Canaveral Reveals Record Cruise Numbers

Port Canaveral, Florida announced a new record for cruise operations. More than 4.5 million cruise passenger movements have been logged at the port this year, outpacing 2016 numbers.

Total cruise passengers, including multi-day guests coupled with 1-day cruisers, totaled 4,520,229 in 2017 fiscal year, which is up 6.4% from October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017. Multi-day passengers totaled 4,234,545 during fiscal 2017, which is up 7.1% from 2016.

Port Canaveral is the world's 2nd busiest cruise port and is considered a leading homeport for the largest cruise lines. The port hosts Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Disney and Norwegian, as well as numerous port of call ships from other popular cruise lines.
