About 200 people were struck down with gastro outbreak onboard a Princess Cruises ship which is set to dock in Brisbane QLD tomorrow, January 4.
Sea Princess is completing the final leg of a 2-week roundtrip between Brisbane and NZ.
Queensland Health confirmed that onboard testing found norovirus to be the cause of the increased gastro cases.
Around 200 people are believed to have been infected with the virus, according to a spokesperson.
In an email to passengers, the cruise line said it had been "carrying out a comprehensive sanitation program in coordination with several international public health authorities".
