Celestyal Cruises has unveiled a bespoke sports-themed itinerary for December 2025 on Celestyal Journey ship, designed as a gateway to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The voyage, titled "Desert Days & Abu Dhabi Grand Prix", combines competitive motorsport with luxury cruising and regional exploration in the Arabian Gulf.

Guests may choose between two options.

The first, a 7‑night “Sail & Stay” departing on December 4, 2025, opens with two nights at a 4‑star hotel in Abu Dhabi followed by full access to the Grand Prix weekend—practice sessions, qualifying rounds, and the race itself—and then sets sail on a 5-night cruise calling at Dubai (overnight) and Sir Bani Yas Island.

The second, a 5-night cruise‑only option departing on December 6, includes race‑day access and identical port visits for guests focused on marine travel.

Both itineraries provide comprehensive coverage of cruise essentials—track transfers, daily meals, soft drinks, Wi‑Fi, port fees, gratuities, a welcome cocktail reception, and an exclusive beachside event at Sir Bani Yas. Pricing starts around US$2,138 for the 7‑night package and US$1,418 for the cruise‑only option.

Guest speakers include former Grand Prix driver and broadcaster David Coulthard, along with UK sports commentator Laura Winter, delivering commentary and Q&A sessions that explore strategy and behind‑the‑scenes insight into Formula 1 racing.

From a maritime standpoint, this itinerary highlights Celestyal’s strategic expansion into event‑led cruising in the Arabian Gulf. Operating aboard the 1,260‑guest Celestyal Journey, this sailing simultaneously serves as an immersive sporting voyage and cultural exploration, flowing seamlessly through Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sir Bani Yas Island before returning to port.
