The Indian Ocean's Vanilla islands comprise of Comoros, Mauritius, Madagascar, Mayotte, Seychelles and Reunion, all working together for the development of region’s tourism industry.

During the last couple of years, works undertaken as united group have been paying dividends in the number of cruise vessels now sailing between the group of islands and beyond.

Following a record 2017, with over 43,000 passengers arriving in the ports of the region, the tourism sector continues to grow.

The Silversea cruise line announced that their Silver Discoverer expedition ship will be based in the Indian Ocean as of October 2018 for several Inter Island discovery voyages.
