Wild Earth Travel to Sail Aboard Legendary Sea Cloud Ship

In October 2018, Wild Earth Travel will escort an exclusive voyage from Auckland, bound for the Mediterranean onboard luxury private yacht Sea Cloud.

Wild Earth Travel organizes small ship cruises. Guests can take advantage of the opportunity to learn both onboard and ashore via the expedition teams and guides.

Passengers will have the chance to experience the grandeur and old style charm of the luxury windjammer sailing to destination highlights from Barcelona around the Balearic Islands prior to calling at Valencia.

Sea Cloud cruise ship

Sea Cloud has been carefully restored with the charm that millionaire couple Edward Hutton and Marjorie Weather Post originally commissioned in 1931. Currently the oldest ocean-going passenger ship in the world, it is a real exhibition of art.

Passengers will be able to enjoy century old rituals and witness ringing orders from the decks, crew climbing the masts and setting sails by hand. Guests will also be able to access the beautiful bridge where they will be welcome to spend time among the historic nautical instruments.

The 8-night voyage is set to sail from October 19 through November 2, 2018 all inclusive of International transfers, with 2-night accommodation in Dubai pre or post-cruise.

All meals (6 per day), welcome and farewell cocktails, select wines and beers with lunch and dinner, soft drinks, coffees and teas throughout the voyage, welcoming champagne, fruit basket in cabin (replenished daily), use of water sports facilities, are all included.

Prices start from NZ$11,250 (AU$10,013) per person.
