Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Joins Ocean Conservancy’s Trash Free Seas Alliance

In celebration of World Oceans Day, leading global cruise company Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., which operates Oceania Cruises, RSSC-Regent Seven Seas Cruises and NCL-Norwegian Cruise Line brands, announced it had partnered with Ocean Conservancy in order to ensure the long-term health of oceans.

The company joins a number of the leading corporations in Ocean Conservancy's Trash Free Seas Alliance, that is actively working toward solutions due to mitigate plastic waste that is entering the ocean. 

Established in 2012, Trash Free Seas Alliance brings together leaders from conservation, academia and industry to create a forum for real-world collaboration focused on measurable reduction of ocean trash.

The membership of NCLH in Ocean Conservancy's Trash Free Seas Alliance is part of company's environmental program, ‘Sail & Sustain', reflecting the mission of the company of providing exceptional cruise experiences for all of its passengers while minimizing its impact on the environment.
