Scenic Announces 2019-2020 Scenic Eclipse Cruises

Scenic Cruises released company's 2019-2020 Scenic Eclipse brochures with 3 versions available, (covering Antarctica; Arctic/Baltic; Europe, Mediterranean, Americas) all encompassing both cruises and land-cruise combinations.

Scenic is also announcing a number of incentives: early-bird prices offer up to 10% savings on all voyages; paying in full by October 31 on any departure saves US$300-750 per person. Passengers booking a cruise-land departure receive early-bird fare, regardless of the time it was booked, and a free 20-minute submarine trip (or equivalent cruise onboard credit).

On a large number of select itineraries, the cruise line offers: US$500 per person onboard credit; complimentary deposit protection, free door-to-door airport transfers. A limited number of sailings offer 50% off the single supplement. All Scenic offers are on cruises through August 2020 and are also combinable with past vouchers and offers.

Scenic Eclipse is the first Discovery Yacht of the cruise line, set to debut in January 2019. The brochures describe the ship, its food, amenities and activities, along with tour descriptions:

  • Europe & The Americas Cruises feature Panama Canal transit, Havana, smaller Mediterranean ports like Cassis in French Riviera, and the World Heritage site of Isla Gorgona in Colombia. Land-cruise opportunities include touring through Italy prior to a voyage to Portugal and Spain; visiting Bogota, Medellín, Cartagena and Pereira in Colombia, before a Panama Canal cruise ending in Peru.
  • Antarctica Voyages feature a 6-guest submarine, able to reach depths up to 980 feet and showing marine life, along with a couple of luxury 6-guest helicopters that take guests into inner Antarctica Peninsula to discover wildlife. Antarctica-only itineraries are available together with such combining with South Georgia Island & Falklands; Peru; Galapagos and Peru; Ecuador; Argentina & Brazil; or Chilean Fjords. Passengers can also enjoy land-cruise tours combining South Georgia with Brazil and Argentina or with Patagonian adventure. The Chilean Fjords are available to explore in combination with Cape Horn; Brazil & Argentina; or Peru.
  • Arctic, Fjords & The Baltics Cruises: Line's 21-day Northwest Passage voyage takes in Greenland prior to heading out through Canadian Arctic Islands, past Pt Barrow and ending in Nome. Russia’s White Sea includes visits to Murmansk, Kola Peninsula, Solovetsky Islands and Arkhangelsk, while other Arctic voyages include Norwegian Fjords, Greenland, Iceland, Spitsbergen, Atlantic Canada and Baltic.
