SuperStar Virgo Departs Tianjin for Maiden Voyage

The latest flagship liner of Star Cruises - SuperStar Virgo, has started her maiden voyage from Port Tianjin in north China.

The ship is 268 meters long, 32 meters wide, with a GT of 75,000 tonnes. It features 935 cabins, that can accommodate a total of around 2,500 passengers.

SuperStar Virgo has more than 10 restaurants and bars, a duty-free shop, gym, mini-golf and other recreational facilities.

It will visit the ports of Kagoshima City, BeppuFukuoka and Nagasaki after departing from Tianjin.

Cruise tourism is currently booming in China. An estimated 29,000 tourists are expected in Port Tianjin during the week-long National Day holiday.
