St Maarten Port is kicking off 2018-2019 high cruise season in November, with a number of multiple-ship days on its agenda.
The first 6-ship day is November 14, followed by another on November 28, according to data from the port.
Later this month, the largest cruise ship in the world, Symphony of the Seas, on November 27, with Royal Caribbean’s newest addition making her first-ever visit to St Maarten.
This year’s cruise season will be the 2nd since last year’s abridged season in Hurricane Irma's wake.
Despite the devastating storm, port of St Maarten had impressive season over the last year. Officials say they expect the current season to be “similar to pre-Irma levels.”
