Regent Seven Seas Cruises Unveils 2 Passenger Experience Enhancements

   November 17, 2018 ,   Cruise Industry

RSSC-Regent Seven Seas Cruises introduced two passenger experience enhancements reflecting guest recommendations and emerging luxury trends in cruising: the opening of line's pool grills fleetwide to serve gourmet dinner al fresco, as well as the ability for passengers to use shipboard credits towards ship-based purchases before departure.

Luxury cruises traditionally serve passengers gourmet cuisine along with fine wines in award-winning dining rooms onboard. However, Regent guests suggested also creating alternative casual dinner experience which is more relaxed following a day of immersive shore trips. The cruise company is currently serving dinner at its pool grills on all 4 ships every evening.

Regent Seven Seas’ Pool Grill fare features grilled-to-order chops, steaks and burgers, sandwiches, salads and fresh seafood with table-service. Passenger favorites include Provencal Marinated Lamb Chops, Thyme & Garlic Roasted Chicken, Striploin Minute Steaks, and, for dessert, Caramel Popcorn Eclair. The Pool Grill is open-air, as well as abundantly shaded. Attire is relaxed.

Also due to guest recommendations, Regent Seven Seas passengers now have early access to use any existing or new Shipboard Credit. Beginning with cruises departing on/after May 1, 2019, travellers may apply their available Shipboard Credits before boarding toward various experiences, such as Regent Choice Shore Excursions, Executive Collection Private Car Tours or Culinary Arts Kitchen Classes (the last available aboard Seven Seas Explorer and Seven Seas Splendor). Advance access to shipboard credit can help guests and travel advisors more conveniently plan their preferred activities before sailing, again leading to personalized experience.

Regent passengers may access their credits via logging on to “My Account” section of RSSC.com, calling Guest Services or their travel advisor.
