Dubai is soon to become home to the most expensive shore excursion from a cruise ship in the world, according to media reports.
Cruise Arabia & Africa revealed that Royal Caribbean, which is due to begin 7-night voyages in the Arabian Gulf from December 2019, will offer its guests AED 122,000 (US$ 33,000) “ultimate shopaholic” cruise shore excursion.
The package includes a personal styling section with image consultant Rose Arbaji at Burj Khalifa, along with a shopping trip, complete with personal shopper, to Dubai Mall as well as a photo shoot.
Vacationers who opt for the shore trip will also be taken for a 3-course meal and an over 3-hour spa experience at Rose Arbaji Centre on Jumeirah Beach Road.
Royal Caribbean confirmed in May that sailings aboard Jewel of the Seas will return for 2019-2020 cruise season. The last cruise of the company in the Arabian Gulf ended March 2017.
