Port Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island expects the upcoming cruise season to make a greater splash than the one of the record-breaking 2018.

A total of 146,000 cruise passengers and 63,000 crew are expected to dock in the capital city, in comparison with 98,000 cruise passengers and 44,000 crew in 2018.

The direct economic impact is due to be just under US$25 million, that would represent a jump of nearly US$8.5 million from the money that was injected into the province during 2018 cruise season.
