India's First Premium Cruise Ship Welcomed in Dubai

Port Dubai UAE welcomed India’s first premium cruise liner - Jalesh Cruises' MS Karnika - to Mina Rashid (homeport for season 2019). Karnika is company's first vessel homeported in the Red Sea region, marking a major milestone for both the international and Indian domestic cruise industry. Tourists from India and Persian Gulf countries (especially from Muscat and UAE) are now able to enjoy short cruises on Karnika.

In celebration of the significant occasion, a ‘Plaques and Keys Exchange’ ceremony was held onboard in the presence of the Karnika’s Captain and key industry stakeholders from Dubai Cruise Committee.

The ship will start regularly-scheduled Arabian Gulf itineraries (June through mid-September 2019) entertaining both visitors and residents of Dubai. Cruise aficionados can choose from two weekly voyages from Dubai (homeport) to Abu Dhabi and Bahrain. The Monday itinerary visits Khasab and Muscat.
