Norwegian Cruise Line Launches New Kosher Menu for No Extra Charge

Norwegian Cruise Line has launched a new kosher menu for all guests for no extra charge, on Tuesday, July 2. Furthermore, in case there is a group of more than 60 people, fresh kosher food is to be cooked onboard in a kosher kitchen. 

Cruise passengers will be able to have kosher food on all NCL cruises as long as they order 30-days in advance. The meals will be under the supervision of the Orthodox Union as well as catered by Borenstein Caterers. 

Those guests who opt for a kosher meal will have the chance to choose from various options including fish, chicken, meat, etc. The meal will come packaged with sealed dishes and each will consist of a first course, main course, a pair of additional side dishes and dessert.

Special consideration will be taken for Shabbat and holiday meals. On Shabbat, passengers can receive challah and red or white wine, while on Passover, they can register in advance for Matzah. The ships will be decorated for holidays like Hanukkah, and rooms will be offered for those who wish to pray or light candles.
