MSC Cruises christened its newest vessel (and fleet's flagship) - MSC Grandiosa - on Saturday night, November 9, in Port Hamburg on the 4th and final night of celebrations in Blue Port.
The liner took center stage on River Elbe as Godmother Sophia Loren named the MSC fleet's 15th vessel, followed by a celebratory firework display.
Grandiosa’s series of celebrations span 27 days, 8 countries, 11 ports and engage more than 14,000 travel agents from all around the world. Following on from the naming, MSC Grandiosa will embark on her grand tour, visiting Southampton, Lisbon, Barcelona, Marseille, and Genoa, before commencing her usual 7-night sailings on November 23.
