A world-famous supermodel, actress, and entrepreneur will be recognized as Godmother to the newest RSSC-Regent Seven Seas Cruises ship.
The leading luxury ocean cruise line announced that Christie Brinkley's latest role is serving as Godmother to the newbuild Seven Seas Splendor. An old maritime tradition, the ship's Godmother christens the vessel and is responsible for bestowing good luck over the vessel and to all passengers and crew.
Brinkley will officially christen Seven Seas Splendor in Miami FL on February 21, 2020.
Brinkley said she was excited to serve as Godmother to the new ship - spacious yet intimate, with 542 crew members caring for 750 passengers.
