Norwegian Cruise Line Eliminates Single-Use Plastic Bottles

NCL-Norwegian Cruise Line is not only eliminating throw-away cartons fleetwide but also working to get rid of single-use plastic bottles in 2020. The company believes it is the first major global line to eliminate single-use shampoo and conditioner plastic bottles.

This comes as part of the Sail and Sustain commitment of the brand, which includes minimizing waste to landfills, increasing sustainable sourcing, investing in new technologies, and reducing CO2 emissions.

The replacement bottles are created by Just Goods using 82% renewable materials like recyclable sugarcane-based plastic.
