The 2900-passenger Celebrity Apex will feature a number of distinctive innovations debuted by her sistership, Celebrity Edge a couple of years ago. These include a movable cantilevered deck popular as the floating Magic Carpet where passengers can drink and eat as well as soar to Deck 16.

Celebrity Apex will also boast The Retreat, an exclusive experience for guests staying in suites with bigger staterooms and balconies and the 2-storey Edge Villas with their own private plunge pool and terrace.

The cruise ship will introduce brand new menu offerings from the line’s Michelin-starred chef, Cornelius Gallagher, such as 3D digital animation (Le Petit Chef) at Le Grand Bistro and Eden Restaurant. Also new is Craft Social Bar selling premium wines (by the glass), craft cocktails and 50+ craft beers (including several rare brands) served by certified beer sommeliers.

Upgraded menus will be introduced at Magic Carpet, Raw on 5, Fine Cut Steakhouse, Rooftop Garden Grill, as well as at the ship's 4 MDRs (Dining Room Restaurants) which are named Cosmopolitan, Cyprus, Normandie, Tuscan.

Celebrity Cruises' Apex will debut 3 new stage shows at The Theatre along with an intimate cabaret show in The Club featuring aerial acrobatics and classic circus acts.

A new wellness program will also be offered including the first-at-sea 45-minute heart-rate F45 Training, flywheel sports, and yoga.

Celebrity Apex is scheduled to debut in April 2020 with voyages to European destinations including Spain, Portugal, and the Norwegian Fjords. After the ship’s Northern European mini-season, Celebrity Apex will sail the Mediterranean prior to repositioning in the Caribbean for the winter.
