Holland America Cancels Westerdam’s March and April Asia Cruises

Because of the uncertainty of ports accepting cruise liners in Asia, Holland America decided to cancel ms Westerdam’s 4 March & April 2020 Asia voyages.

The cancelled sailings include:

  • March 14–28, 14-day South Korea & Japan roundtrip from Yokohama
  • March 28–April 11, 14-day Japan Explorer roundtrip from Yokohama
  • April 11–25, 14-day Japan & Russia roundtrip from Yokohama
  • April 25–May 10, 16-day North Pacific Crossing from Yokohama to Vancouver, BC Canada.

Holland America has been closely monitoring the evolving situation with respect to the ability to operate cruise itineraries in Asia because of the regional concerns surrounding the deadly COVID-19.

All passengers will receive a full refund of the fare paid. Each passenger will also receive a future cruise credit of 25-50% of the cruise fare paid depending on the departure date and reimbursement of travel cancellation fees.
