VIDEO: Seven Seas Splendor Christened in Florida

On Friday evening, February 21, RSSC-Regent Seven Seas Cruises christened its newbuild Seven Seas Splendor in Miami Florida USA.

Legendary supermodel and actress Christine Brinkley served as the godmother to the new cruise ship.

Seven Seas Splendor cruise ship is the newest RSSC liner, with sistership Explorer (2016) and fleetmate to the older VoyagerNavigator and Mariner.

For the vessel's interior design, RSSC contracted the Florida-based firm "Studio DADO". The DADO-designed venues include Observation Lounge, Constellation Theater, Card Room, Connoisseur Club, Pacific Rim Restaurant, ship's Spa as well as all the 55 suites (categories Penthouse, Grand, Superior).

Seven Seas Splendor itinerary program is based on Caribbean, North America and Europe (Mediterranean) cruises, with Transatlantic repositioning crossings and Panama Canal transition between Florida and California. The inaugural cruise season (2020 summer) is in Europe, featuring 15 port destinations, including Italian and French Riviera, Greek Islands, British Isles.
